About

Pawsitively K-9 was founded and is currently operated by Barbara Soltys. She has been a certified dog trainer since 2010 with certifications from the Animal Behavior College, the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and from the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. For four years, Barbara was the lead and sole dog trainer at a major pet supply store where she ran dozens of group and private lessons each day. She also implemented safety protocols and instructed all store members on canine behaviors. She continues to educate herself by attending in-person or online seminars from leading veterinary behaviorists and science-based dog trainers to further her dog training and behavior knowledge. Barbara consistently attempts to better herself in order to help her clients build trusting relationships with their K-9 family members.
